Cedric qualified as a dentist at U.W.C in June 1983. He started his career working as a dentist for the Department of Health at dental clinics in Mitchell's Plain and Silvertown, Athlone. This short stint lasted less than one year and thereafter working at U.W.C. Dental Faculty in Oral Surgery Department and dental clinic at Crossroads.

He worked for Dr S Hendricks in his private practice and two years later bought his practice. Cedric has been in this dental practice for 36 years, although the practice has relocated twice. 

Cedric's dental practice is in Retreat, in close proximity to the communities that he served all the years. 

Over the years he has been busy in continuous professional development in different aspects of dentistry and have seen the practice grow significantly over the years. He has used the benefits of being in practice to assist those in need by rendering services to those who cannot afford treatment and assisting in community projects (Lavender Hill High under Mr. Manie being one such project).

Other than dentistry, his hobbies are model trains, ballroom and line dancing as well as gardening.
